Privacy Policy

Pisode is developed by Aleksandr Poplaukhin.
Library and iCloud
Pisode stores tracked shows, episode watch history, and preferences on your device. When you enable iCloud synchronization, your library is copied to your private iCloud database through Apple's CloudKit. No separate Pisode account or developer-operated library server is required. Apple's terms and privacy policy govern the iCloud service.
You can use the local library without signing in to iCloud. Network access is needed for show search, metadata, artwork downloads, and cloud synchronization.
Search and images
When you search for a show or load episode details or artwork, Pisode connects directly to TVmaze and its image hosts. These providers receive your public IP address, the search text or requested show/image resource, and technical request information needed to deliver the response. Pisode does not add your email address, iCloud account identifier, watch progress, or a persistent user/device identifier to these requests.
These providers may retain IP addresses and request information in their server logs under their own policies. Their API-specific retention periods have not been confirmed by Pisode, so we cannot guarantee that this information is immediately deleted. See TVmaze's Privacy Policy. Artwork remains the property of its respective rights holders.
Opening a streaming-service link takes you to that provider; its terms and privacy practices apply there. Pisode does not receive your streaming-provider credentials.
Free version
The current version offers unlimited show tracking without subscriptions, in-app purchases, or tips. Pisode does not request payment details.
Notifications
If you authorize notifications, Pisode schedules reminders on your device using the episode dates currently in your library. No developer-operated push notification server is used for these reminders. You can disable reminders in Pisode and revoke notification permission in iPhone Settings.
Analytics
This version does not send usage events to an analytics service and does not use advertising or cross-app tracking. Development builds print diagnostic events locally, including a locally generated anonymous identifier. Production builds do not print these events.
Apple may separately collect download, crash, and usage information according to your Apple settings and Apple's privacy practices.
Feedback
The feedback form opens your email application. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send the email. The developer receives your email address and the content you include and uses it to respond and investigate your request. Avoid including sensitive information. You can request deletion of feedback correspondence by contacting the address above, subject to applicable record-retention obligations.
Retention and deletion
Your library remains on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud database until you delete it. Settings includes a confirmed action to remove the library from this device and iCloud and disable sync on this device. A reset marker containing an empty library and a timestamp may remain to propagate deletion to other devices. Offline devices can retain their local copies until they synchronize. Subsequent edits from another device can create a new library.
Disabling sync stops future syncing on that device but does not itself erase the iCloud copy. Uninstalling Pisode removes its local application data but does not itself delete iCloud records. Downloaded images may remain in system-managed caches until those caches are removed by the system or the app is uninstalled.

This policy will be updated if Pisode's data practices change. For questions or privacy requests, contact the developer.
